Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville

Oh my word, this is the best Discovery place I have ever taken my kids. So many areas of entertainment for multiple age groups under teens. My 10 year old son did not want to leave! The car pit with interactive mechanic stuff had him engrossed and the upstairs area where there was more building options had him hooked. The grocery store, diner, submarine and fire truck were a huge hit with all my kids. You get a lot for $10! Staff was great!

How awesome is this place?! I only wish I had a place to come like this when I was young. It has everything you could imagine and then some. Learning, fun, discovery. And there are things for all different ages. I love the fact that children can explore different careers like doctors, fire fighters and even racecar drivers. We most certainly will be back, hopefully on a weekly basis.

Mostly geared towards children under the age of 10. There is a nice little enclosed area for smaller children, 1yr - 2yr olds. My daughter went here on a field trip with her school. She had a blast. The place is very cool. There is a vet clinic, doctor office, restaurant, firetruck, plane, grocery store and a lot more I can't remember. Each room is very detailed. The vet clinic had little kennels with water bowls in each. They have a few stuffed animals, a light box with an x-ray film. The grocery store had a little grocery carts, vests, a check out replica, and a lot more. I'm only sad we didn't take my daughter before the field trip. We'll definitely be taking her back.

This place is awesome. Very safe environment. My 3 y/o had a blast. They have a veterinarian clinic, firetruck, MD office like scenarios. Your kid will have lots of fun. I must say that the person that was reading a book to kids wasn't very good. She was boring and she looked like she wasn't into it. The staff was very nice. This place would be better if they sell food besides what's on the vending machine. They provide free parking. I will absolutely consider to come back.

Great place to take kids. Definitely age limit I would say would be 10 to 12 depending on the child. Any child under 10 will have a ball The Sweet Spot I found was about 5 to 7 years old. That's when my children had the most fun after about 12 Day didn't seem to be very interested. Still a lot of fun for kids under 5 cool water spot play area building blocks all kinds of need activities, The pirate ship is pretty awesome!
