Don Foshay's Discount Tire And Alignment

I was very impressed with the courtesy, efficiency, and competency of the service I received at Foshey’s in South Portland last fall and this spring. It was my first time buying snow tires and visiting the company. The gentlemen working are a pleasant, happy bunch focused on doing their best for each customer. Jim shared his expertise and guided me in choosing the proper tires for my new car. Last winter was nicer with my new snow tires! Thank you! Ann

They told me my car was safe to drive when it was actually potentially deadly to drive it and I'm lucky to still be alive and not have hurt anyone else in a crash. By the grace of God I was not on the highway going 65mph at the time it gave out and no one was hurt when it all went bad... Then they had the guts to severely overcharge me (by hundreds) on a few items for the repairs following this! (Something which was caught, but not by them, and I made them pay it back though it took quite a while.) They then said all this was "a communication error", though they acknowledged that they were totally at fault. Negligently putting lives in danger is not just a communication error! This was the last straw and a few weeks later I found out they had missed another serious safety issue in my car durring that state inspection. My new mechanic caught it immediately. (I brought it to another mechanic, who is now my new mechanic, when something else went very bad and I had to get it towed again. I just could not trust my car was safe in Foshay's hands after their negligent inspection of it.) I'll never go to this place of business again for sure. They have really gone downhill in business practices and professionalism from what they used to be. If you value your life and the lives of your passengers and others on the road, I suggest steering clear of them.

We are up from Dickinson,Texas (south of Houston) for our daughter’s wedding. She needed new tires for her Jeep Liberty. I called and had the opportunity to speak with Andrew. He understood the position I was in ( being an out-of-towner) and put his full attention on what I needed to be corrected on the vehicle. They went to work and I was satisfied with all aspects of the job. I will recommend their hard work, courtesy and great management skills to any and all of my family and friends. I know after speaking with Andrew, if a situation arises and I need an honest person to take care of my daughter’s vehicle, Andrew will be my first call from Texas. I've done business with Don Foshay for many years now and have never had anything but great customer service from them! Their team is both knowledgeable and courteous. Their prices are very fair as well. Highly recommended.
