A local favorite for approximately 20 years. Friday night hosted live musical talent "Dick Danger."  The performance wasn't too loud or abrasive if you weren't interested, but allowed for plenty of dancing room up front if you were. Average prices for alcoholic drinks and free cover charge provided for a slightly tolerable experience... at least for a few hours.

The 5 stars is for the very friendly staff.  They make you feel at home.  It feels like a small town bar where everyone knows you

Down under  is amazing.  It is totally worth my two and a half hour drive from Waterloo Iowa to Des Moines for the entertainment friends so much more
