Dukes Bar-B-Que

Where I learned to love southern buffet style eating. The BBQ is sweet and tender, and their mustard sauce is the real deal. Homemade pork rinds. Hash I actually like, and I usually don't care for it. Fresh okra. Oh, the banana pudding!! When I worked at SRS we came here every Thursday for lunch and the whole gang looked forward to that. What really kept me coming back every week though was the fried chicken. I don't know what they do to it, but it's still the best fried chicken I have ever had. Want to eat like a King or Queen? Give Duke's a try this weekend.

Go hungry and go often. I may have scheduled my Christmas vacation (when I lived in a Yankee state) so I would be able to stop by before they closed for Christmas. They have all the BBQ you expect and the vegetables to boot. Desserts like banana pudding with ice cream are included in the reasonable price. When I'm not near Aiken, I crave me some Duke's.

First time and I will go back. Very busy Sunday buffet hard to get seconds but everything was amazing.I really liked the fried chicken! As I said I went back several more times and the food is consistently excellent.

Visited to meet with family that we haven't seen for awhile. The food was really good. The price was almost cheap, especially considering we we're eating BBQ. This place has a looooong history and is worth trying. I believe it will become regular stop off on trips:).

Good BBQ with plenty of sides. They have good sauces and even have a Crosby Sauce for those who grew up around here. Used to love Crosby's fried corn on the cob.
