Dyer Police Department

This goes to Rock Bottom who made a report about this. Okay first nobody was talking about your aunt, the only reason she might have gotten arrested was because your police department wasn't careful enough at searching through a criminal record. Second is my personal opinion. The police department is a great law enforcement group. That being said my father is a commander there. Many great people live in Dyer, who knows you may be living there for the rest of your life.

If you are African American find another route to take due to extreme force, false arrest and NO body camera in the whites only town of Dyer, In! You will get pulled over because of the color of your skin and no one in the town will care. Be careful!

Dyer is the only town that I can say I have been messed with and know people to be messed with - and treated like dirt by the officers(even off duty ones). There are some good ones(so I add a star back), but it seems like the only ones that I've come into contact with are more about stroking their egos and screwing people over than protecting and serving. My aunt was 60 and had never been to jail until going to Dyer.

My friends purse got stolen so I called the next day and the lady that answered the phone was very very nice
