I have dealt with Portage police multiple times. Sometimes they do something but usually they refuse and will lie about why that claim they can not make a report. They will do everything you ask them not to such as touching a sensitive area which has a buglers fingerprints, moving evidence around without yet being documented, ext. There is an officer who thinks he is part of the Boondocks Saints and even has that tats the characters do in the movies. (Please do not think this is a joke, I am serious). He snaps and yells and people when asked the most basic information and is completely ignorant about The Law or his responsibilities/obligation to The People as a police officer. He trys to act like he is in an action film all the time and has no sense of reality. It is kind of like a child in a comic book store was given a badge and has now last his damn mind. Sadly, I can confirm that there are only a hand full of actual officers here and what is interesting is they are almost all female. I have no idea why that is but the female officers here tend to obey and even know The Law while most male officers are doing.. "Activities" which I am afraid I cannot make public at this time. I will say that I hope this place gets investigated by real Law Enforcement someday and that we become a stronger and safer community. We The People of Portage and America deserve to be served and protected just like the rest of This Great Country.

Racist......One black occupant in vehicle they call for back up. One white occupant they give the ticket and go about their business. Wish I could give them 0 stars.....
