I have had a situation on my property where a man showing up posing as a private detective harassing my neighbor plus calling my mother private and me saying that I'm doing something wrong and then I'm in trouble but leaving no badge number no District no name no number. By law they have to identify themselves meaning the officer has to identify himself. I contacted the Hammond Police and they have been very helpful to me about the situation telling me that I must have someone that does not like me a neighbor and ex-boyfriend and that is very much true and so they have helped me in some regards and we're kind to me and I truly appreciate it. As for the negative reviews if you feel that you're being singled out because of race maybe you need to look at the fact that it's possible that the reason that you're getting pulled over is because you may be guilty of something and it might not be of your race I have made mistakes in my life you have to own up to it regardless of what race you are and pay for your mistakes and do what's right in your life to make what's the best of it.

One of the officers killed a family dog for absolutely no reason. Shot it in front of young children and then left.

This is worst most corrupt police department I have ever seen in my life! They are seriously some sorry a** excuse for a police department, especially when they're supposed to protect and serve! I can't WAIT to get the hell away from Hammond!
