Definitely profile whoever they pull over and are liars! Also for some reason the officer did not put the money taking from my pocket that he counted out and I signed off on into my property. The amount was way less than the allowable amount to have in cash. My bag has not been found and the cop took my jewelry from the bag, would not let me take it as property and said he will leave it in the bag. After that took us to Laporte county. They are the worse.

Hobart police Dept was called to a house on our block I witnessed the homeowners boyfriend who's happens to be black being degredated talked to like he was nothing and subsequently cuffed for no reason outside iin subzero temps. And ordered to walk away without a coat you could see his coat on the ground to which the lead officer had his snow covered boot on ...Yesterday they were back because from what I been told the other couple that stay there stole the homeowners van and destroyed it. Hobart police told her she can't put them out in the cold there is a law or city ordinance that prohibits people from being thrown out in subzero weather. This further proves claims that Hobart police are very partial to African Americans...BEWARE IF YOUR BLACK

They are Crooks and thugs !! Bullies in blue is what they are ! All the good reviews are from family and friends of the police.

Your officer that "handled" the situation at the apple orchard was unprofessional and ill-mannered. He needs to be taught better, and if he's any example of the police force there perhaps you all do.

Hobart has some of the best police in the country. They are accessible and care about people, especially the children!
