We are so thankful for the wonderful care our dear 12 year old dog received. He needed 6 teeth removed. Dr. McCue and her staff were so kind and informative through the whole process. He is recovering well due to their expertise and care. We live over an hour from Limon, but the great care was worth every mile! Thank you, Elizabeth, for keeping us up to date on his progress!
Dr. Leesa McCue was absolutely amazing when we believed we would lose our puppy. She is so dedicated and took multiple calls from us over the weekend to ensure Lucy recovered and we were doing all the right things. I couldn't give a higher recommendation. We are grateful for her dedicated service to animals and their people.
Coming through from a trip and our dog became ill. They took us in on a holiday weekend and helped our dog feel better! Very professional and thorough! I wish we lived in the area because we would come here for all our animal needs!
I was passing through Limon actively filling up with fuel when everything happened about a week ago on my way from a Wyoming to Florida for a military move. My dog had sudden and explosive bloody diarrhea all over the backseat of my truck. After getting things pseudo cleaned up, I called Eastern Colorado Vet and they were able to see her right away. Everyone was very caring and thorough in caring for her, and they even gave me cleaning materials so that I could better clean up my truck. The overall cost of the visit and all medications was very reasonably priced compared to other vets I’ve visited over the years. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.
I took my dog to Dr. Leeza McCue for an examination to confirm that my dog is going blind. Dr. McCue did a thorough exam and took the time to explain in detail the condition and treatment options. I was very impressed with her knowledge and level of care. I highly recommend Eastern Colorado Veterinary Services.
During our travels to Colorado our dog became very ill. We called Eastern Colorado veterinary services. They took us right in and did the best they could to save our Westie, but he passed. The Staff did an outstanding job, and treated us and our dog with the greatest respect. I thank them and rate them as the best vet team we have met. Thanks again and may God please you all. I had to have a dog put down. He was 15 and it was time a small dog, 22lbs I have had to do this with 3 other dogs in the past due to the sane reason old age. It has cost in the past about $75 or less and has been VERY quick. Do NOT go to Eastern Veterinary Service to have this done! It was $135, took 3 shots and 30 min for this poor old dog to pass! Again I have had to do this in the past and it was almost instant with the second shot. I wish that no one has to watch their pet for 30 minutes to pass. I will NEVER return to this place. It is a very sad day......
Incompetent- This practice does not have competency to operate computers, so I am unsure how they can practice on live animals, although, I'm not really sure they even want the business. I scheduled an appointment and gave address, phone number, instructions for vaccines and health cert. They did not take my information down correctly and were not calling the correct phone # to confirm the appointment so they chose to just not show up. The best part is, I called the day before the appointment around 3PM to confirm appointment time myself, and was instructed they would be leaving their facility at 8:15AM for a 9:00AM arrival. If you had questions for me when I called in, don't you think you would have asked?? I was asked nothing and no one informed me they "had a bad phone #" during the time I called in. The address on file with them is a family member's address, of which they have serviced before, so you would assume the company could search and find an alternative phone number on file to attempt to make contact rather than leave someone high and dry. I was then asked for directions to the address, I am not from town and was making this appointment on behalf of a family member and would assume directions to an address can be found on a phone or computer. I would not know the cross streets off the top of my head, but would think a vet who serviced the local area would be familiar with a place they have been to before. Let me reiterate, these vets have been to the address I provided before. Again, not sure why I have to provide directions to an address, there is modern technology to help you with that. I was then told I also needed to give directions/instructions for services being requested which I already gave when I initially scheduled the appointment. I needed a health cert and updated vaccines, which I find not to be that difficult of instructions to follow. Stock your truck with most common vaccines and be prepared to provide a breadth of services? That is how I would operate my business for revenue purposes but hey, not my business. You could also ask me for the shipping address for health cert when you arrive even though I already gave it. Shipping address should be irrelevant in advance, what if I just wanted a health cert and was not traveling? It is my money to pay you, that apparently you do not want. Don't make that an excuse because you can't operate a business. That would be like a human scheduling a physical and the M.D. needing explicit instructions in advance in order to be prepared to draw blood for basic lab work or needing advanced notice to have a flu shot on hand. It just does not make sense. I would think a small town vet would want all the business possible to maintain their income and reputation. I will never utilize this practice because they are clearly untrustworthy with administrative tasks, how could they be trusted to perform the actual clinical work?? Thank goodness I didn't allow them the chance to fail at that as well and they never have to touch my animals. You may want to consider the competency of your workers if you want future business. I also suggest you increase your effectiveness and not blame your incompetency on your customer. If you ask yourself why you don't have repeat customers, or have business/income expansion you may want to take these items in to consideration.
The go-to place to take your pet in the clinic or come out to your ranch for services. I have consistently been served well by the staff and fully trust their informed, professional decisions.
Don’t waste your time! Very poor customer service… there are much better veterinarians out there.
