Black Forest Veterinary Clinic

Pretty disappointing experience. Have been taking my pets to Black Forest Vet for 10+ years, and the recent changes have been frustrating. My dog required an ear surgery, costing $700, and required follow-up visits to change bandages. The first bandage change cost an additional $31 and fell off of him 10 minutes after we left. Was told to return today to get the stitches removed, only to be called 10 minutes after arriving home after getting the stitches removed to be informed that he actually wasn't supposed to have the stitches removed today and that I need to be very cautious with bandages and not take them off. I asked if he could see the vet to assess his ear since they made an error and was told I could but it would cost $60 for an exam. I'm not feeling that my pets are safe at this clinic - the vet tech I saw didn't seem to know what she was doing, and after they made an error with my dog's post-surgical care, they weren't willing to make it right. I have enjoyed this practice in the past, but most of the great staff and care that was there before is gone. I am taking my pets elsewhere.

GOOD PEOPLE! We found a stray dog, obviously a special pet, and called them. They stayed open and extra 15 minutes until we got there, amd checked for a chip FREE

We've been coming here for almost 15 years. Great place, live Dr. Liebers, Dr. Morh, Sibrina.

I Miss dr. Mohr, but still a great place with good people and qualified Veterinary staff. Sabrina is also worth noting being as she is exceptional at her job as veterinary technician.

So grateful for the consistency in care of Black Forest Vet for our two dogs. Black Forest Vet has fair prices and are timely and attentive to our dogs needs. When one of our dogs passed, even though we did not bring him here for his final passing, the entire staff each wrote a handwritten note of condolences on a card and mailed it to our family.
