El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant

This quaint little Mexican joint is convenient to my office, so we eat here on a somewhat regular basis. The food is usually fresh and delicious. You shouldn't leave hungry. I usually get the nachos. The entree prices are reasonable, but ordering a la carte can get expensive.

Went here with my wife while passing through Mobile January 2018. I first noticed the clean smell and appearance as we walked through the door. It wasn't decorated with expensive fixtures or furniture as I've seen at other "authentic" Mexican restaurants, but was just a simple layout that reminded me of an old house that was gutted. It was a Friday night and not many people were there Starting to have second thoughts, I turned to my wife and asked if she wanted to go somewhere else. We were already there, so we decided to stay and we're so glad we did. The prompt attention and friendly service of the staff was very welcoming. Long story short, the food was delicious and service was above average. We will definitely be returning when we go back through. Loved it!

Great service butt food could be better. I'm from California so my taste for Mexican food is looking for something at this place.

Great place! Have to admit, was a little sketchy driving up (just a green brick building, windows curtained, and in a rather dirty section of town), but just go inside. AWESOME food. I will be revisiting. Lunch Fajitas were more than great. Great prices too

Great place to eat....the food is wonderful and the owners and staff are so friendly. We love this place.
