Eldorado National Forest

Beautiful outdoors area well kept and icehouse campgrounds are fun and family friendly. Easy access to the lakes for some great fishing. Be sure to take adequate blankets and firewood because the nights are freezing. Overall its an easy drive in and they have a well stocked market. Gotta check out bassi falls when there.

Hidden treasure; was there with my husband for close to 2 hours and had a blast... While the cost for parking is steep ($35 per car extra for larger vehicles) if you have your own sleds and bring your own food and drinks then its not that bad. If you don't have your own equipment, they do have some available to rent (not sure of the cost as I have my own). Highly Recommend Snow Boots; you'll be glad you had them when it comes to going up and down the hills. There were about 8 runs when I was there today, some just for the little ones.

We were at Bear River Lake Resort....loved every second of it. So relaxing, so peaceful. Staff terrific and food great. We'll be back!

Beautiful location and great opportunity to enjoy the views, nature and so much more. Plenty of room for all kind of activities.

A moderate hike with beautiful Vistas get there early parking is hard to find since it's so close to the world-famous Emerald Bay parking lot
