Love driving up the less traveled Lee Canyon side of Mt. Charleston. It's always a treat for a dawn or dusk drive to see the fabulous wildlife. This evening didn't disappoint. Saw a small group of deer with their young. Also saw several horses with their young and a particularly cute juvenile mule traveling with them. Lovely to just pull over and watch .

Just gorgeous wonderful time of year and tremendous hike. The waterfall was flowing strong :-). Five children and my buddy had a great time 1 hour 45 minutes at 1 hour 25 minutes down stop a few times for quick snack. Started raining on the way down and got pretty slippery in some spots want to make sure you have helpers if you're not a strong either.

This is an excellent place to spend a day. The many trails range from an easy Sunday afternoon stroll with the kids, to serious mountain climbing. All the trails seem well defined and clean. Parking can sometimes be a little tight, but it's never been too much trouble.

Went in the Winter, saw very few (and very nice) people. Hike along a sturdy trail overlooking a beautiful creek and through some trees until you find yourself admiring a beautiful waterfall. In our case there was snow on some parts of the trail, and on most parts once we got to the trees. Being winter the waterfall was absolutely beautiful due to the combination of water, ice, and snow sculpting something out of this world. About 6 miles round-trip, and overall not too tough. If winter dress warm and STAY DRY. Happy trails.

Love any part of the spring mountain area. This time was a midnight dinner with my girlfriend in Clark canyon. Amazing place
