Escape Lounge

The food and drink are fairly good, but the lounge itself is way too small. Every time I've been in it's been busting at the seams, undermining one of the whole reasons for using a lounge in the first place: comfort and privacy. Last time I grabbed a water and turned straight back around, there are always entire rows of empty seats at quiet Gates. Also no showers. Overall it's passable if you have free access and find it on a quiet day, but definitely not worth paying for.

Thank you to the amazing Team of Laura, Jerry, and Claudia. Unfortunately my flight was delayed by several hours but I don’t think a delay have gone so fast before. They make you feel welcomed the second you step into the glass sliding doors. Jerry was very welcoming from the start with a great attitude and knowledge about what’s going around in the lounge. Claudia and Laura are truly the life of the place by their ability to be very professional but get on a personal level with the customers and make them feel comfortable and great even though things are not shaping up to expectation while traveling. The lounge was kept tidy and clean and the food was delicious. I cannot wait to have another delay in Oakland again!

Great lounge with above average food and beverage offerings. The furniture is not the best, and there isn't much space. However, the staff are very good and happy to serve. Nice little Mac and Cheese pots, high quality meats, some nice desserts, and Anchor steam beer. Well worth a stop if you have an AMEX platinum card that will get you and 2 guests in for free.

Stumbled across this gem on a long layover in Oakland. The price was fair and the food was delicious. Also enjoyed a few complimentary glass of vino. I was welcomed by Jerry who has a wonderful upbeat attitude and made me immediately feel welcome. I'd recommend this as a great alternative to the foo foo coffee joints and crowded gate. Of course, unless you've earned airline status. Relaxing, healthy, and friendly. Will make this a regular stop if time allows!

Nice place, good selection of items to eat and drink. Comfortable. Only thing I thought was missing was ability to check flight status in the lounge, had to go just outside to see what was going on with flights.
