Very friend staff and very spacious USO with cool view of the runway; because of the windows the whole space can be quite bright, so a challenge if you're wanting to take a nap. They have a nice little family room with toys for little ones. Overall one of the bigger USO lounges I've visited; it is a little tucked away on the top floor of Terminal 1 (Southwest Terminal). Did not notice showers there.

Our flight was delayed in Chicago causing us to miss our connecting flight in San Francisco to Redding (by 2 minutes) which meant that we were stuck for the night in SF.  My husband and son had both used USO services while traveling but I had never needed to.  What a blessing!!  The volunteer staff was friendly and extremely kind.  There was a lot of room and plenty to eat and drink.  The area was safe and secure.  Thank you USO.
