United Airlines Arrivals Lounge

A welcome rest area after a long flight. The shower rooms are large and clean and include essentials for getting clean. The linens are a little worn but that’s just fine. Service is excellent. It’s on the smallish side but it’s also quiet since it is only for returning international travelers. They serve a hot breakfast and have cereal, fruit, yogurt and other pastry items.

I have been to many, many United clubs, I am a frequent flyer. When my business partner and I went to the bar to get drinks before our flight, he was passed up multiple times. I’m not sure if CAROL the bartender knows how lines work but you can’t just pick who gets served and who doesn’t. After standing and being ignored he decided to sit back down, she began to yell at him about his attitude and how he wasn’t in line. He was polite and was met with such a rude attitude. She began saying “do you want me to take someone’s beer away for you sir is that what you want?” And how rude he was. Then she proceeded to talk about us to other customers at the bar saying things like “people like him cause her high blood pressure” and “she deserves to work in the international club and is too good for this club”. After sitting through this we decided to leave the situation. As we were leaving my partner left a few dollars and said “sorry for the misunderstanding, happy Easter” all he meant to do was clear the air but was met with her THROWING the money back at him saying she didn’t need his money. I cannot believe United made such a slip judgement hiring someone like her. Thankfully the other United club was just a short walk and we were met with a great bartender. I never write reviews but felt it was necessary after informing management about the incident. We’ve learned our lesson in going to the original United club at SFSO and WON’T be returning to this club.

Adequate facilities but needs a facelift for the restrooms for sure !!

Abundant well maintained shower facilities, above average food for a us carrier lounge.
