Extra Space Storage

Do NOT trust this place. If you want the option to pay two months at a time, after 30 days they impose two late fees of 25.00 plus an 85.00 fee to auction off your belongings! They try to push you into relinquishing your rights to your property encouraging you to sign over your property rights. I spoke to them on the phone and agreed to pay two months of rent and they were going to wave the late fee. I showed up to pay on the day as promised only to find more than 50 percent of the rent amount added in 'fees' and a lien placed on my property claiming they hadnt heard from me. Not a good way to start a business! I've complained again and they promised to call me again to resolve this. I have no access to my things unless I want to pay this lien fee. We've been in contact and I NEVER led them to believe I'd given up my property as they're trying to force me to do with these abounding late and lien fees ! What a trap!
