Central Self Storage

DO NOT STORE ANYTHING HERE EVER. I paid for storage for over a year and a half. During that time, my unit was broken into and emptied out (or so the facility alleges). Not only was I not contacted, they also failed to notify the police. Central Storage simply rented the empty unit out to someone else. It wasn’t until we opened the unit with a pair of lock cutters lent from the office that we realized anything was amiss. Central Storage took ZERO responsibility for what happened and feigned absolutely cluelessness (“It must have happened while the gate was broken...months ago....”), while the Belton Police did nothing more than take my statement. Thank goodness for home owner’s insurance because I lost thousands of dollars worth of personal property directly because of this company. DO NOT USE THEM AS THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS.

The staff was ok. The only thing negative I can say is when I started unpacking my stuff, there was a lot of mouse droppings in my kitchen items. Had to wash everything because of this. So I'm guessing I will find damage on my items. I haven't unpacked enough to be able to say yet. I wouldn't leave my items there unless your willing to chance having mice destroy your stuff and leave you little gifts in your stuff and boxes.

Currently have a unit with central. The small staff is personable, available, and accommodating. The hours to visit your unit are more forgiving than other local facilities and the prices are comparable. The unit itself is clean, as is the property.

Office always smells like apples. Manager and assistant are both helpful and caring.
