A member of the office staff named Matt called me to reschedule an appointment. When I asked for conformation to be mailed to me he chuckled and said "We don't do that." He then proceeded to act like he asked a coworker for conformation. He even went so far as to suggest that I call back when I am ready to write it down. This is not the first time I have experienced such bullying tactics and a total lack of respect for the patients. Customer service is greatly lacking in the norfolk office and va beach is not that far behind.

The office staff is on point meaning they are train well . Rose smith is great . But dont go to there skye doc for meds he is a joke just lost my business because the office is now rude and I never recive a phone call back for the manager and the lady office worker told me I don't have to give my name OK well now you have cause rose to lose income because of your rudeness what's going on with the world today

Not sure where to even begin. I met with Rose Smith to discuss my anxiety issues and as soon as I walked into the room I was met with unprofessionality and attitude. I had a family member (my mother) helping me with my anxiety issue because I hadn't had luck in the past when trying to do this on my own and I guess there was some miscommunication on wether she was a psychiatrist or a psychologist. Their website was a little misleading by saying they had psychiatrists who could prescribe medications and I guess my mother was under the impression that Rose would be able to diagnose my anxiety and refer me to one of their in house psychiatrists who are actually not taking any patients at this time which was not stated on their website. When I realized that this mistake had been made, and was met with rudeness at attitude by Rose, I made the decision to leave and not waste either of our times. Once I mentioned leaving, she told me she would call my mother back there to let her know about the mix up on the website because she "didn't want me to go out there and lie on her and make her reputation look bad". I told her not to bring my mother back there that it was not a big deal and that I would just leave and try my luck somewhere else because we obviously didn't click. She kept insisting to bring my mother back there even though I told her not to multiple times. Mind you I am 27 years old, not a child by any means. I was only taking advice on seeing this lady based off my mother wanting to help me with my anxiety and suggesting I go this route. Even with me saying "No" countless times, she walked out into the lobby and proceeded to bring my mother back to the room I was in. The first words out of her mouth were very rude and she completely sat there and bashed me in front of my mother. She brought up things that I was uncomfortable talking about in front of my mother and also would not let me get a single word in the whole time they spoke. I ended up hanging my head and staring at the floor the rest of the time while she spewed her nonsense to my mother in attempt to make her take her side I'm guessing. I'm not sure of the legality of her bringing my mother back there after I said not to. I was sure there was some sort of Doctor/patient confidentiality agreement but I guess maybe I was wrong about that. So basically what was supposed to be me getting help with my anxiety turned into her bashing me and embarrassing me by taking out her anger on me in front of my mother. She did however offer me my copay back since our 45 minutes of time was basically spent attempting to make a fool out of me instead of working on my anxiety but my main issue with her was her calling my mother back there after asking her not to and how rude she was to me. Once I started to get upset she asked me multiple times if I was thinking of suicide which seemed to be an attempt to try and commit me. I'm not even sure where that came from and just kept answering no and said I would never harm myself. I have never met someone so rude and nasty in my life. Maybe she was just having a bad day but I feel as if I deserve an apology for her actions and I hope no one ever has to go through what I went through with her. I really wish I would've just got up and walked out from the beginning but between my anxiety, and her telling me "no, no, no" Over and over, I felt trapped and panicked and sat back down. I've also called twice this morning after which they claim they are open on their website but get a voicemail saying they are closed at this time so I'm guessing that is another "mix up" on their website that should be cleared up. Anyways, I hope anyone who decides to see her has a much better experience than I did because I am still sick to my stomach the next day over this and can't believe something like that even happened. Very unprofessional in my eyes.

If you love your family members, do not let them go to this office!!!! A member of their office staff crossed an ethical line with my family member. I wish I could say more, but I don't believe this will be posted if I do. When I tried to file a formal complaint, I was met with rudeness and they refused to speak to me or acknowledge the employee's wrong doing. I told them I had irrefutable evidence of the misconduct, but the office manager refused to speak to me about it and said I had no right to complain. That's when I found out they mysteriously lost the paperwork we filled out during the first visit, giving me permission to access my family member's records and speak to them on their behalf. As a representative of the physician, the office staff should be held to the same ethical standards as the doctor, but this office ignores their patients and their family members. I have never encountered a doctors office so unethical in my life, and as much as I'm angry about what they did to my family, I am writing this more for the next family that they could hurt. Do yourself and your family a favor and do not go to this doctors office.

I could not tell you how the psychologists are here because the new patient intake is awful. Every time I called they told me that they were closed. I drove to the front desk in order to make an appointment, who told me to call new patient intake again because they would be open, and surprise! The person on the line told me me new patient intake was closed for the day - at noon. I would say they have lost my business but they never had it in the first place.
