FireFly American Bistro

Went during Restaurant Week and was pleasantly surprised of the combo menu they offered. The standard menu looked interesting as well and I was kicking myself for going with the special menu. The food was mad decent, although the portion size of the Chilean Sea Bass was a little on the smaller side for the price but the soup and dessert made up for it somewhat. Service was a little slow at the start, it wasn't too busy at the time we went either. But the waitress took care of us after that. Overall, probably a little pricey for the portion and quality but I'd like to give them another chance as it was still pretty decent.

We snuck up on them about 2:30 pm and once we roused someone the rest of the visit was impeccable. Attentive service, and even though we were early for the dinner menu the chef said NO PROBLEM when we asked for the fish and chips. The best fish and chips we have eaten, and we try it everywhere we go. And my margarita was delicious.

I had the pasta Alfredo with broccoli. All aspects were spot on for texture, flavor and value. Got the half size for lunch and wished they had a 2/3 of a half size. Big portions are good for some, but there are those people out there that want less on their plate so they don't feel terrible the rest of the day! For everyone else, you're in luck. ;-)

Had a good eggs benedict here for brunch. Wife's sausage was very tasty. Will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere, friendly service staff, some patience required sometimes as wait times may vary. Really good food. I want to give 5 but the fish in chips falls short. Fish is not crispy but a little soggy and chicken marsala was taken off the menu. My two favorites, but still a nice place.
