RAM Restaurant & Brewery

Prime location with plenty of space for everyone. It also had one of the few rooftop patios in the area which looks great covered in lights and has a great view of high street. The beers aren't as good as the other breweries in the area but they have a solid menu of bar food. This place works great as a stop in your night drinking. Also the staff is excellent. They treat you right.

Ram has a really nice facility with plenty of bar space, many places to sit and an outdoor patio. Their beer is pretty good, and very reasonable for craft beer. You can get an 18 oz glass of any of their beers for $5.50. The food is okay. I ordered the Loaded Ram chips and they weren't what I would consider loaded. The cheddar cheese and bacon barely covered 25% of the chips leaving me with dry potato chips and no dipping sauce. My table service has never been good. I have been here many times and my servers were always inattentive and no worthy of more than a 10% tip. The bartenders on the other hand, have been good. Overall, RAM offers a pretty average experience.

Good beer, bad food. Seems everything was just a bit off. They use fresh ingredients, just execution a little off. For example some of the over seasoned fries were hard, as if they'd been in the kitchen too long. The bun on the jalapeno burger fell apart too easily, but the grilled pepper thru the toothpick on top was a nice touch. Spicy but Good, and a bit messy. Thin flattened chicken in the over breaded chicken. The salad dressing had no flavor. Nachos were huge, but needed more cheese and less chips. May return for beer if convenient.

Food is always delicious & drinks are top notch. Only complaint is the preparation time of food could be improved. You better pencil in at least an hour and half if you plan to eat lunch or dinner here. One of the best places on High St in the Short North for price!

Good space but the beer is so so. The patio is great. When we went they were only serving the late night menu despite it being 5 pm.
