Yesterday around 4pm on 1st Avenue in downtown Seattle I witnessed a First Student driver instigate a road-rage situation with another driver while there were young passengers on the school bus. (The bus driver was upset that the car in front of him was blocking a lane while trying to merge into the other lane. Frustrating for sure, but welcome to downtown driving at rush hour). The bus driver laid on the horn for many seconds at a time for at least four LONG blasts, annoying all the pedestrians in the area. Then, after the car ahead merged, he pulled up next to it and began yelling at the driver with an angry expression on his face and making aggressive motions with both hands. His behavior was very unprofessional and aggressive; our community has higher expectations of professionalism for school bus drivers. I emailed First Student through their website with my concerns and the bus number, but have not heard back from them -- so now I'm posting this review to inform the public.

I walk everyday in my unimproved neighborhood where there are roundabouts. First student buses do not yield right-of-way to pedestrians. In these unimproved neighborhood. Pedestrians have the right away cars and buses are supposed to yield to all pedestrians. I find this bad behavior the school bus drivers need some strict training on pedestrians walking an unimproved neighborhoods. First student drivers need to quit cutting the roundabouts.

If I could give no stars I would. This company has been unreliable for years in transporting students to school. Why? They can't keep staff, because they pay peanuts, so they will have 1 driver on multiple routes, running them sequentially. Support the striking drivers.
