Fishermen Direct Seafoods

We have traveled the Oregon Coast Highway for years and this is the ONLY place we buy our fresh fish. Most recently went there and they had 6 different types of rock fish! Live crabs and pink shrimp are both locally caught. The freshest clams around. We make steamer clams frequently and have never gotten a clam that didn't open when cooked lightly. They have a wide selection of smoked salmon, cod and oysters in several flavors, all done in-house. They can only offer fresh what is in season, so anything not coming off the boats is available in their freezer cases. Fish literally come off the boat in the morning and are out for sale hours later. Every seasoning and sauce you could need for cooking seafood and fish is on their shelves. ALSO- if you are a fisherman, they will clean, fillet and package your fish. Their blast freezer freezes a fillet in minutes. They also offer custom smoking options, vacuum packing and will even safely ship your catch home for you. The employees are upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Simply perfect every time.

The people who worked there were sooo helpful. Bought the ling cod. Cooked it as they told me, and my anniversary dinner was amazing. Thanks so much, hoping to make it back today, want to take some fish back home.

First off got home and the salmon online is a dollar less than what we were charged. $16.95 for salmon locally caught is a total rip off. My husband was in the midths of a abcess and just wanted out of there, and I asked to see what a pound would look like ended up with a pound and a half for almost $26 dollars and it has a useless piece of skin flap that was probably $5 of that which any decent store would of cut off and not charged for. The total size is just a little bigger than a piece of bread. While there a man came in for live crab and if not mistaken paid over $10 each crab which again is a total rip off. How this place stays in buisness is amazing and the help has a real attitude problem and seems like you are inconviencing them if you have any questions or make jokes of it. They had it wrapped up and ready to go before telling me the price and like I said above really wanted just a pound. Embarrased and also my husband in pain we bought it and said never again. We have bought from them for many years but feel this was the last straw the salmon may feed two if we are lucky and add a filet mignon for both of us for less than what this salmon cost us a pound would would of fed one.
