I gotta write a great review for this place since my experience was sooo good vs. what other people wrote in the past!! First off the front desk was helpful every time I called...told me which days and times I could come in for my specific test I needed breast ultrasound. Then once I figured out my schedule I realized I could only really come in on Saturdays because of child care...the front desk fit me in to the next Saturday schedule!! Love that! Then today I had my test...came in prepared with my ID, Insurance Card and referral and once I filled out the quick paperwork the tech called me back—her name is Yelena and she was awesome!! Very thorough and professional...and easy to talk to!! She wanted to know my problem/complaint areas...to make sure she took care of me! Health imaging and breast care is so important for prevention and diagnosis...so I’m so glad they made it a great experience!!
Avoid this place at all costs. I am the patient and they are the “professionals.” Went for a mammogram and a follow up - both times I was told that if I had answered my phone I would have seen their efforts to reach me and alert me that they called me to due to scheduling mistakes. They lied to my face - there were no messages on my voicemail or even a missed call- but the receptionist and one of the technicians blamed me in front of other customers. I am now sitting at their other location/ office waiting to be “squeezed in.” This is not how I expected to spend my afternoon but I have no other choice. I echo all the other reviews. Terrible service!
I also agree: the lady at the front desk is so rude oh my gosh, that lady, and I think she loves it. This is the 3rd time that I come here for an annual mammogram and it is the first time that I was told that I am not supposed to wear deodorant and that I am supposed to also wipe under my arms. I didn't know that. I know that I could have found this information online, but I will expect my medical provider to explain/remind me of this prior to my appointment. They just called to remind me to bring my doctor's referral and my insurance card, and nothing else. I mean, each time is like I am a new patient, so treat me as a new patient all the time and do not assume I know this process. After all, I just do it once a year.
The front desk/phone people who work here are incredibly unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing. They overschedule patients consistently, lie constantly, lose paperwork without fail. This office used to be okay but has consistently gotten worse and worse over the years. The only reason I have used them is because it's close to my home. I won't do it again. If I could, I would give them negative stars.
I was kind of shocked by the low rating. I've only been here once but was there for a while AND apparently I didn't schedule something properly when I made the appointment but the technician made a call to fit me in ON THE SPOT. So, I had a GREAT experience and in fact, saw the low rating when I googled for their # to make an appt. for a different service. The gals at the desk aren't stuffy. They were candid and comfortable. Like a neighborhood office, which I personally like. It was my 1st time with that service and the technician explained as we went and answered my elementary questions with understanding. RETURNING CUSTOMER!
I never actually thought of reviewing a radiologist before - but the reviews were so terrible before I went I was a little frightened. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very efficient and perfectly friendly. When I showed up the office was quite full and I thought, "Long delays," but in a surprisingly short time I got my X-ray. I had a nice chat with the X-ray technician, who was also very attentive - I had moved during one shot and he got it in seconds, before I even had a chance to say. So I don't see why everyone's complaining. Yes, they're renovating some areas - I think they got water damaged at some point in the past - but they were professional and polite and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. What more do you want?
I usually don't write reviews but after I read the "not so good" reviews I had to. I have nothing but great things to say about this practice.The support staff, technicians and the radiologist are very helpful and professional. There are no delays or unexpected cancellations. Place is clean and neat. No need to worry if you don't speak English, they will always find a a way to get an interpreter.
I would give them no stars if that was an option. My mom and I Walked in, and staff didnt even greet us, and when they looked at us they aleady gave an attitude. My moms appointment was at 8. Staff kept saying she was next. Very rude Staff, and very unprofessional. Talking about patients and each other behind their backs, cursing and very impatient aswell to clients. Kept the bathrooms locked but yet this is a place where women have to release their pee right after their sonogram. Asked my mom very very personal questions OUTLOUD. We walked out right after they called someone else came in and secretely told the reception I have to get back to work real quick and called her name, and we said we thought we were next and they said this is an Emergency mammogram? I would never come back here.
This place was very attentive . Not sure in regards to the bad reviews . I understand a copay is needed , this is a business , not a free hand out . Most New Yorkers have a reputation to be rude . I have witnessed , a patient coming in swearing and talking loudly on the phone and was very rude to staff . I also came a different time , to have another exam . I witnessed rude clientele , for various reasons . The staff was very attentive to my needs because I was polite .
If I could give negative 5 stars i definitely would ! The staff is horrible! I have never met such nasty front desk staff. I cannot believe people like this can keep a job. RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
