It's very quiet there usually never overcrowded always quick service lines at the most are one person ahead of you usually no more and my favorite part is they don't sell at you for sitting on the floor next to plugins since there is no seating upstairs near a plug in ,now the downstairs waiting area may be different? I do know that security is downstairs and they have way more vending machines downstairs then up, maybe even possible seating by the outlets?

Grayhound has always got me where I was supposed to be on time and I love the fact that the buses have WiFi.

Seems greyhounds cleaning there act up I didn't get panhandlers asking for cigarette or money It was actually quiet and really clean. Way to go greyhounds it's really the small things that matter the most when you going on a long trip in a compacted area.it is nice when you get out stretch your legs and don't have to worry about your surroundings

This station isn’t bad. My simple question of, which gate is my gate?, was answered and the woman behind the counter printed out a bag tag for me without even needing to ask. Didn’t have to spend a lot of time there, so I didn’t really require much from the place. Just needed a bus to take me back home.
And that is where the issue arose. Five minutes into the ride heading for Seattle, the bus broke down on the side of I-5. The bus driver did not tell us what the situation was until he got us off the freeway, with the help of WSDOT, and had us stopped at a truck stop. Better than the side of the interstate, but no closer to home.
Of course I, and probably a majority of the bus riders, had purchased the non-refundable ticket, which meant that Greyhound was official done being at my service.
But of course, that’s why they offer a refundable ticket. It’s hard for most people, myself included, to see the value of paying extra for a little peace of mind which only becomes beneficial to the purchaser in the event something goes wrong.
Now I know many will argue about corporate schemes with this point, but airlines do this too, and it’s just business for both. Frustrating, but that’s business.
So I ended up getting on a plane by the good graces of my loving parents, and I made it back to Seattle long before the bus would have.
That all being said, I know that Greyhound buses make it to their destinations all the time. A friend of mine took the later bus to Seattle and made it just fine and on time.
Needless to say, my first experience in Greyhound left much to be desired, and I will most likely look to other forms of transportation in the future. Of course it is hard to make sure everyone has a good first experience since every bus will have someone who’s on it for the first time, but our very short ride followed by very slow response leads me to believe that they don’t run a tight ship out here.
Bam Bam out.
