We just so happened to be at a point where Jacks Stack was too long of a wait. Couldn’t have been any better of a dining experience! The food here is absolutely amazing! We ate things that were not of normal American restaurants but was truly amazing. The workers are extremely nice and helpful. If I’m doubt just go! It’s worth it and I’m sure Jacks Stack couldn’t top the delectable experience of this place. We were amazed and very satisfied with everything. At one point my wife said we may have to eat McDonald’s after this when we were ordering but that couldn’t be further from he truth. Well done!

This was an amazing find. The food was excellent, and not unreasonably priced. The service staff was amazing, spending more time making sure we were getting what fit our tastes than I think I've ever had. Upon finding out my wife has a food allergy, our server, unprompted, even double-checked with the kitchen to make sure she wouldn't have any issues.

Wonderful experience after an initial oddity. We arrived shortly before 5pm and were told by a manager(?) that we'd need to vacate the table by 6:15 without any explanation. The restaurant was about half full the entire time we were there, so not sure why the need for us to leave by a certain time. After that weird start, the rest of the evening was great! Delicious food (kale salad and spaetzel for me, house salad and schnitzel for my husband) with big portions (we both have leftovers), the German beer was tasty, and the dessert special was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. As we were leaving at 6:10, we heard a couple check in for their 6:15 reservation and that the table was being cleaned for them. If it was our table, not sure why the dozen empty ones wouldn't have been suitable.

I really like the food here and the ice tea is perfect. I've been here 4 times and love their paprika chicken. But I've never really had good service here. It wasn't bad, but not good. It was ok service. And last time, the chicken was overdone/dry/chewy. Not enough to deter me from coming back. It's a fine place.

The food is wonderful. This is not the stereotypical German food that's covered in sauerkraut; this place has something for everyone. Wonderful beers.The building is charming. The wait staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. This is my favorite restaurant in KC.
