Tannin Wine Bar & Kitchen

I absolutely love this place. Great atmosphere for friends or a date night. I have never met a wine I didn't like but when I need guidance I hate to be talked down to. Not here. Such a wonderful staff the owner is incredibly nice as well!

This is the perfect place to spend a long night out with the one you love. Great atmosphere, huge wine selection with a very knowledgeable staff, and amazing food in great portion sizes. If you go make sure to try a cheese flight or two, add some meat, and have your waiter grab you a wine flight to start. Then just relax, kick back, and let the night happen. So worth every penny you spend, and you will spend quite a bit of pennies, but you won't even be mad. Just tipsy, full, and relishing in the evening. Enjoy!

I've been to Tannin several times and I am never disappointed. The wine is always delicious. Our waiter has always been helpful and knowledgeable in pairing our food selections with a tasty wine. Speaking of food, I love it. Everything I eat there is delicious, cooked well and looks appealing on the plate. My husband and I had an especially great experience with a waiter, Orian, a couple weeks ago. It's one of my favorite places to go in KC.

They really do have the best wine list in town! I was surprised to even see a Missouri wine on their list. You can never call a wine list truly comprehensive but they sure get close! I love that you can get a half glass so I can truly pair my meal and be adventures. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly and the setting is perfect for date night or just relaxing.

Fantastic lamb and wagyu burger. The interior design was so cute, too! Not too fancy, not too casual. Great relaxing place to eat (if you have some spare disposable income).
