Guitar Center

Hidden downstairs in the crazy busy times square area, this is my little escape from the madness into musical playtime. Heads up you will always find someone playing the piano or DJ area too loud but I've heard some talented people practicing here. The staff is all cool and helpful when you can actually reach them. The wait time isn't that long though.

Worst “music store” ever. Go to Sam Ash it’s only 10 blocks south and they won’t try to rip you off. I’ve been a musician for over 20 years. Tonight was my Last time ever walking in there. Thanks to guitar sales person Kyle who refused to see if they sell variety packs of pics online and his stupid manager trying not giving any helpful advice whatsoever except for trying to up-sell me on something I did not want or need. Wouldn’t go back there they don’t help if you need help or advice they just try to up-sell you on anything they can and will lie to you.

Large selection of merchandise and very helpful staff. Quick pick up and they even tune your instruments here. Replacement of goods with the protection plan is effortless and easy.

Biggest Guitar Center I've ever visited! Lovely selection of music-related items. I'll definitely visit again on my next trip to New York!

Very helpful staff.. Trying out any kind of purchase before you buy it is what i like about Guitar Center. 👍👍
