Heritage Inn Yosemite/Sonora

Great room for a couple. Had a huge tub that my friends and I enjoyed before going out to the local casino, Chicken Ranch. Room had one king size bed, and the room was so spacious that you could fit 3 more easily. Bathroom is easy to maneuver in. This building seemed to only have stair access to these rooms but there are a large number at ground level also. It's winter but the small, gated pool was still pristine. Ice machines (my pet peeve) we're all out of order except one. That one saved my life. Haha. Clean rooms; towels, toiletries, fridge, microwave, couch, table, separate and private bathroom, and they don't mind if you make a wee bit of noise here.

Only giving this 1 start because I had to. We stayed 2 nights and only chose this hotel because of its location. You step into the room and it's like you have stepped back to the early 90's. The matresses were so bad, we all had springs it's our back. Then the breakfast...all I can say is that I felt like a refuge. Do not bother going if you're going to stay here. Carpets are disgusting. It's says no smoking but you can tell someone was smoking weed next door. Oh and the toilets, had a hard time flushing and it was only #1

The hotel is nicely located, making it easy to walk into town for shopping or food. Also there is plenty of parking. Room was just OK, nothing special. To toilet used so much water though - please upgrade to low flow! The hot tub was closed for some reason, which was disappointing as the pool was way to cold to use (it was April).

Cozy rooms with a great price. Just wished the beds weren't so hard.

Can I give 0 stars? I looked up "pets stay free" hotels and they advertised free. When I called and asked about my "dogs" she said there is a 12.50 pet fee. I ok. I drove 50 miles to get here to stay and when arrived they said they want $25 pet fee per dog and refused to adjust my rate. Highway robbery! They should honor their pricing. Not cool. Not recommended for animals. They have no honor nor integrity. I left I would rather sleep in my car then give them my money.
