We stayed at Farshores Condo's in unit 1A for the 4th of July. Staying on the lake was awesome but the unit and the upkeep of the unit was disappointing. The gounds were nice but the units are older and it doesn''t seem they do alot of upkeep. Our unit had an odor, my guess is there was a previous water damage and they did not properly take care of it leaving behind a mildew smell. The carpet needs to be cleaned and properly stretched, there were waves in the carpert where it had not been layed proper. The Shower head needs to be changed and the tub is very slow to drain. The water is up your leg by the end of your shower. The sink in the bathroom is slow to drain as well. Don't expect to watch TV unless you only care about the local channels or QVC. That is about all we could get. They do have a back deck with a grill but if you want to make use of it you will need to spend your vacation time cleaning. The grill was filthy, there was a cover for the grill thrown in the corner. No one has bothered to cover it. The furnishing on the deck looked like they had never been cleaned off. I probably will never rent from Hot Springs Vacation Rentals again, if I do, I will not stay in this unit however I am not sure the other rentals will be much better. For the price I expected better.
