I recently got kicked out of my mother’s house and I was living in my truck 18 hours of the day. My sister lets me sleep at her house at night but I’m homeless and it may take longer than you think it should but I had my food stamps in a week. Thank goodness for them. I would be homeless and hungry but they really wanted to help me.

It's clean and mostly fast service. The only problem I have is they do not call you back. Which can be a real problem if you need an answer to something important. They are however mostly friendly and informative at the front desk.

I can't stand how government assistance is done up where everything can be handed to someone who doesn't work very quickly and easily but the people who do work have to wait. I habe applied for food stamps at the end of October and I am still waiting. At that time, they told me I could not get exoidited food stamps because someone in the home is working. But we just had a baby. Our bank is over drafted nearly 300$ and they seen that too. So why can't we get expedited food stamps? Because we aren't lazy bums who actually work in our household and came into some tight times, but let's hand it all out to those who don't even try to get a job. Thanks.
