Ignite Power Yoga Studio

I was going through a divorce when my girlfriend told me about a hot yoga teacher. I wanted to go for the workout, to shape my body and feel good again in the midst of depression. What I got was that, and so much more. The emotional breakthroughs I would have in class, led by Meg's ability to challenge, support, and nurture her students, offering great meaning in the way we physically - and so mentally - move, resist, hesitate, give up, and hold strong. I had always dabbled in yoga here and there, since I was in college, but it was by going to Meg's classes that I found a lasting practice, one that endures today, years later. Meg has a way of welcoming. When you walk into the studio for the first time, any fears or nervousness will dissipate, as you are welcomed like long-time family. There is an ease you will find, as you're met with people who are both a) dedicated to self-improvement and b) smiling and having fun, all the while, not taking themselves too seriously. It's the fabric that makes up a strong community that has the Ignite tribe returning over and over to the space for nourishment.

When I first came to this studio some time ago I was worried about my level of yoga knowledge and experience. And from the beginning I have never felt more comfortable in an “exercise” setting and I had been to many.This studio is accepting of ever age, gender and experience and just feels safe and non judgemental . Meg and the rest of the instructors have such great energy and positivity! I love being in this space and whether I show up already in a great mood or if I’ve had a challenging day I always leave feeling better. This studio and meg and the other instructors have changed my life literally. The people I lay my mat next to and practice with are awesome! Thank you meg for creating this space in dubuque ❤️

Ignite Power Yoga Studio is a warm and welcoming community. The teachers are passionate, thoughtful, and engaging. I love the Baptiste-style yoga. I get something new out of every visit and walk away feeling rejuvenated!

Ignite was the first place I ever tried studio yoga classes... and any experience I've had since can't compare. The Ignite community is strong and supportive, the instructors are passionate and encouraging. I feel welcomed and accepted here, and even more, pushed lovingly toward my fullest physical and spiritual potential. After two weeks of classes every day I was stronger, happier, and more full of energy. I've been traveling for a few months now and even received advice from Meg, Ignite's amazing guru founder, about how to maintain my practice while traveling. I love this place. Namaste.

There is no better place to relax and feel welcome. Ignite has the most amazing/motivational yoga instructors. Everyone must try! Just 5 stars doesn't justify my awesome experience...
