JOANN Fabrics and Crafts

First of all, the women's restroom needed cleaning and toilet paper in stalls. Second, the line to check out was ridiculous! Two cashiers..... One was taking care of a lady returning items. The other cashier was checking out all other customers. The cashier handling the "return" was still working with that same customer when I finally made it to the other cashier. NOT once did anyone call for additional cashiers! I am not talking about a five minute wait in line, how about 20 minutes!!

Got stuck in line at the register for 20 minutes. They took a lady who walked in the front door and skipped the line. None of that would have been an issue had the clerk not ignored me when I got to the counter. I was irritated and suggested they need another clerk because we’d been waiting 20 min for three transactions that were ahead of us. Ignored me yet talked to my 4 year old son. I said “really?” and she ignored me again. I called corporate after that, gave them my info and what happened and haven’t heard a word since. It’s been a week now.

Good store, really big and actually has more fabric and craft supplies than most stores in Houston. Really happy, nice knowledgeable staff. Will definitely drive the extra 30 minutes to go to this location instead of the Joann's by my house.

Staff are helpful and usually knowledgeable. They have a wonderful variety of things for hobbies and sewing. I was disappointed that they didn't have the zipper foot I needed for my specific sewing machine. Need to go back to the store where I originally bought it. Otherwise, it is a good place to get supplies.

Nice location. They need more people checking people out and those that are there should work on being more friendly.
