Me & Ewe

Visiting from out of town and I always try to find a local yarn shop and buy a skein of yarn local to that city. I had a great conversation with the owner about ethically sourced yarn and sustainable crafting. She was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The store has a small collection of yarn and fabric but everything is chosen intentionally which makes it that much better. I'm jealous that Austin has a yarn store this great. You should definitely visit!

The best I can offer is that the address is correct. Maybe I stopped on an off day, not well organized, I had higher expectations given previous reviews. None of the reviews seemed accurate for this establishment.

wonderful shop -- great character and laid back vibe --stopped in for fabric (which there's a perfect variety / selection of) but left wanting to learn knitting so had to sign up for a class that night! enjoyed talking with ella and petting purl :)

A group of ladies and I were on the Yarn Crawl and decided to stop in. We all were so happy to have come by the shop and check it out. The worker was super friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a very nice variety of yarns and fabric. It's a must see if you're in Austin!! Thanks for a great experience!!!

Great store and very helpful staff! Good inventory without being in-your-face overwhelming. Totally worth making a trip out of your way to come by!
