JOANN Fabrics and Crafts

The people who work here are so nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is nice, well-organized, not over-crowded but with a great selection. It's really easy to find what you need. The store is pleasant and bright. They have an app with coupons, so you can pretty much always get what you're looking for at at least 40% off.

Joann’s is the only fabric store where I can reliably go to find He sewing supplies I need for making or tailoring clothes made of specialty materials. When they have sales the prices are great, but normally, I find the prices of fabric to be so high that it’s far, far cheaper to buy clothes than to make them myself. I wish they had more variety in specialty materials, but they do sell clothes dye, hues of which can almost always be combined to create the colors of fabric I need, although this does drive the price of a homemade garment up even more. Last time I went I got 50% off and was super happy with the costs (ex. $9 for 4 spoils of specialty thread and 3 heavy duty Singer needles). I wish they had a more centrally located store. The closest store is 10miles from my house in Central Austin. Lastly, the clientele at this store can be incredibly rude. At my last visit, a woman and 4 girls with her occupied an entire aisle with their 2 carts and motorized scooter. I asked them over a dozen times if I could grab a spool of thread. Each time they moved for a second, and then step back in to occupy the entire aisle. Then, at the registers, hey just stood there chatting amongst themselves while all 3 cashiers simultaneously announced to them that their registers were open. Pretty self-absorbed and pretty well ruined my ability to conduct a basic shop (both product selection and check-out). I wish there was a better store to shop at, but unfortunately I haven’t found one yet.

Wonderful store, always has what i am looking for and customer service by employees and management is incredible. Had a private cricut class with Anna and it was so much fun. Manager on duty, Sean, made sure class was going great and I had everything I needed. Sean and Anna helped with a very important project. Will definitely be back.

Great service! I let them know I've never been to that store before and was helped. Everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful. They have a good selection and a nice sized clearance section.

HUGE store with a ton of selection! They also have lots of sales and coupons so I hardly ever pay full-price for anything. Super friendly and helpful staff, even during busier times I've always had at least one person ask how they can help me.
