Crab cakes were awesome. Unfortunately, we took a back seat in service because of a large party. Another person helped when asked without complaint. Decor was cool.

The food is excellent, love a chef with a heavy seasoning hand. Haddock Sandwich & the crab cakes were phenomenal. Great selection of local craft beer on tap. Nice sidewalk eating in the summer.

Dinner ruined by a marginally trained staff and a loud obnoxious group seated on top of us. Memorial day dinner, the wife and I are seated in the back ALONE. Quiet, peaceful, we are watching the TV's, ordered lobsters, having a nice quiet beer. Then a large, loud, RUDE group comes in and are seated on top of our quiet meal. They ask to staff to change the TV I'm watching. Does ANYONE ask if it's okay with the people there first? No. After they continue to make loud commentary, one of them even has the gall to complain there is no sound on the TV. Even if I don't want the channel changed, at least have the common courtesy to ask. To top off the rude loud group, our waitress was so preoccupied with them, she neglected to give us the salads that came with our dinner. So did we order a second beer? No. Dessert? No. All we wanted at that point was our salads to go and get the hell out. On my way out, I tell one of the waitresses what happened, and her reply was to thank me for my military service. While I appreciate the sentiment, I really wanted her to listen and respond appropriately. Listen to the problem, don't change the subject and minimalize the problem.

This place is wonderful. Great food and atmosphere. And good for them for going straw free!

A wonderful farm-to-table restaurant in Wells. A fine dining location where relaxed dining is available. Wait staff is very good, but does not hover. Have eaten at Joshua's several times and have always been very pleased with food and service. Make reservations.
