The park is really nice. Visited shelter 2 which is right next to the lake. There was space around the shelter for a bag toss game, frisbee, football toss, and other games. The shelter is relatively new with plenty of picnic tables. If you want to fish it's right next to the water. Folks fished from the shoreline as well as from boat. Great place to watch sunset.

This park is absolutely beautiful! I'm not in this side of town, and I was pleasantly surprised. There is a playground, a naruna for boating and fishing, shelters for picnics. The facilities and grounds are well maintained. I was just driving through, but I'd definitely plan a day to spend more time exploring this park.

Very clean county park that features trails and fishing. There are bike trails, hiking trails and horse trails. Some of the trails are asphalt and some are dirt. You can walk around the lake which features 60% asphalt trail and 40% dirt trail. There is also a swimming beach and a play area for the kids. This is a nice clean park and other than people fishing you will probably not see very many people.

We love this park! The hiking trails are so great. You can fish, swim, hike, you can bring your pets, your kids, and your grandma!

This park is a great little get-away from the hustle and bustle of Kansas City. I've enjoyed both the paved trails and the dirt trails. The dirt trails are a little more adventurous. It has been very peaceful with not a lot of people each time I've gone.
