We spent the night here while traveling across the country. We camped in a 40' fifth wheel. The campground was very nice with ample space for our fifth wheel and truck. We only stayed one night but it was very quiet. We would like to camp there again when we have more time to enjoy the park more.

Beautiful park with what would be great hiking trails in the fall or winter. I would not recommend going in the spring or summer with your dogs though. The place is INFESTED with ticks. Super bug spray and flea/tick medicine resistant ticks. We use a monthly treatment on our dogs and we also sprayed their feet with deep woods bug spray before setting out and still spent hours picking away ticks afterwards. We’ve never had this problem or seen anything like this before. It was terrible.

Nice peaceful campground. They have a couple hundred campsites, so they almost always have availability. We came in after hours and was able to quickly locate an available campsite and hooked up our rv with no issues. They have self pay booths which was very convenient for us. Will definitely return and recommend.

Great park with an awesome lake. Nice and clean with very little boat traffic all things considering. Fishing was great and we had an awesome guide taking us around.

Beach area very nice. Its small and clean. I do think that there needs to be more grills and tables out there, and maybe a trash can in site. It is 5 dollars per car for day. Worth it!
