These are some of the best trails in this part of the world. A bit of everything for everyone. Yeah indeed!

These trails are an awesome way to take in the lakeside scenery, but they cover a lot of steep terrain so you need to plan accordingly.  Wear proper shoes, take plenty of water and a phone or GPS for safety.  We hiked all the way down to the water's edge along the peninsula and made an approx. 1 mi. loop to the west before heading back out.  It was a great time but we had two small children & the steep slopes were almost too much for them.

Rugged and definitely a good warm up for Colorado trips. Always good to be outdoors.
