This is the spot we camp at all the time. The park is very well maintained. Staff is very friendly. Boat ramp is great when the water is down on both sides but only the West side will work if the water level us up.

Small-ish but quaint state park. Good spot for birding and nice views of the lake. There are hiking trails also.

Only downside is that the showers/restrooms at Turkey Run were closed. Very popular, but also large enough that privacy is not a problem.

We just did a day trip and explored some of the trails. A nice little park for nature walks, camping, boating, and fishing.

Well maintained facilities and grounds, friendly and professional park rangers, and ample parking.
