Lake Myers RV & Camping Resort

Couldn't have had a better day! Fun in the sun relaxing in a big beautiful pool with my camping family! Love our Lake Myers! Thanks to everyone who is working so hard for all of us to give us another awesome summer! ⛲️🚣🛶☀️⛳️🏀🎱🏓🏊🤽

I give 0 stars we have stayed at a lot of campgrounds in the last 6 years but none of them was as bad as this one. Raw sewage running down road and the smell was unreal all the time could not eat out side. We were in D section flooded the whole time. We had some friend wanting to come visit not swim just visit us 10.00 each just to come in. Most campgrounds sell bundles of wood not this place .50 a stick. The water slide when open was some nasty water the bottom pool water was green. First time there and the LAST paid 73.00 dollars a night left Saturday just to see if there was a opening ANYWHERE ELSE. Checked at FORREST LAKE MUCH NICER PLACE but was full. Quite time was 11:00 pm people still riding around on golf carts music blasting at 2 :00 am.

Would have been nice to know that the water activities were not open when we booked the villa on the phone. The TV didn't work when we arrived. The grounds are kept up fairly well. The black ants and bees are a nightmare at the villas inside and out. The windows could use a cleaning.

People there are so friendly. My sister has a permanent trailer there. Please go spend the week or weekend there you will leave with new friend. And garentee you will come back.

Was pretty decent weather till Friday night bad storm whipped up. But all was well!! The Villas could use a little upkeep inside and out. Some of the decks look like they may have been replaced or repaired recently actually looked a little bigger. Curtains in the windows didn't come to the floor. They were lacking about 8 inches. As a child things are so big to us.....then you grow up, and go back. They don't look so big anymore. I guess its been 2 years since we have been out there. Previous Management was much more cordial or accommodating. If all the little things I noticed are reported again and again I understand staff being tired of it. But you have to keep your smile on. A good bit of updating could be used, no pets means no pets. We were transporting a hedgehog which weighs in at 8 oz. Same as a block of cream cheese. My wife brought it to Myer's Lake I was meeting her there to transport it elsewhere, someone saw them take it's 2ft x 2ft x 3ft cage out of the hot car. Called the office and complained. She had a note that it had to go or that they would have to leave. Really an 8 oz hedgehog that doesn't do anything but eat cat food and bugs. I understand rules. And he wasn't staying anyway. I know this site is for info. Not complaining. So would I go back again, yes! Restaurant keeps it simple. Breakfast type things, burgers, fries hotdogs, drinks etc. Prices are reasonable...not like a theater....$30.00 for popcorn and a drink with a free refill!!!! By the way you do get a free refill as long as you don't leave the sheltered table area. Fishing was poor, but water temp was up! Canoes available. Waterslide, large pool w/ life guards supervision. Activities for the children and teens. Live music some weekends DJ's also. Putt Putt. All in all a fairly good time#
