Lake Norman Martinizing Dry Cleaning

If you are trying to have something cleaned that you really care about, I would recommend finding someone else. I had my mom's wedding dress redesigned for me to wear at my wedding and needed it cleaned and pressed before the big day. I had a case of "everything that can go wrong, will go wrong" with Martinizing. My dress went MIA and I didn't get it back until two and a half weeks after my quoted date. I tried calling several times to see what was up and ended up in phone tag between the staff (who are super nice, but seem to have poor communication). When I was finally told I could pick it up, it wasn't ready when I arrived. So I came back the next day. Instead of being cleaned, my dress had even bigger splotches in it. They also tore off (lost?) one of the hanger straps of the dress which I had to replace. The owner did agree to meet with me to go over how to fix it, and she did fix it - and tore off another hanger strap and lost my nice wooden hanger in the process. She also told me the reason it was done poorly the first time was that they had had some problems with staff being sick and that she had done it in a hurry. In the end I lost a lot of time, two hanger straps, one wooden hanger, and a slice of my sanity, but I got a fresh dress and a 33% discount.

terrible service, dropped off a suite and 2 shirts told it would be ready next day after 5, i waited till the next morning after the scheduled day it was to be ready and the shirts are not ready, i will not use this company again.

Kim and her staff are great to work with and always take great care of my items. After trying several dry cleaning companies, I could not be happier with Kim and Martinizing! Thanks Kim!
