New Era Alterations, Dry Cleaning & Shoe Repair

Absolutely love this place! Owner and staff are so friendly and professional. They altered my “mother of the groom” dress and my daughter’s bridesmaid dress for my son’s wedding in February. The seamstress made a suggestion to add a small bustle to my gown since it had a short train. I got SO many compliments on the dress! It fit like a glove and was very stylish! My daughter also lost a little weight a few weeks before the wedding and her dress was slightly loose. They altered it in a day (3 days before the wedding!). She looked perfect!! I highly recommend them for all of your general dry cleaning needs and alterations!! A++++

Do not go here to get any alterations done. Not only did they do everything opposite than they said they would, they ruined my expensive dress. The dress has a low plunge line and now one side my you know what hangs out , she used metal clasps vs material to put the dress together. The metal clasps made it look trashy and made it extremely small around my ribs so I can barely move. She told me when I came in to have it fitted that she didn’t realize it was a wrap around dress. Isn’t that her job? So no calls were made to me to explain what she decided to do. She said it was her bad and that she had forgotten what we talked about. Not only did I still have to pay for the alterations, the man at the front asked me if I was happy and I said no She told him that I didn’t want it fixed, wen the reality is I am going out of town for a wedding. Very rude and unprofessional. ****UPDATE...I wanted to say that the manager did call me after reading this and felt terrible about the situation! Although we didn’t have time to fix the dress before the wedding he did go out of his way to call and try to make it right! I do plan on bringing the dress back for them to fix.

This place is amazing! Here I am day of my step brothers wedding, spent $300 on a dress from David’s bridal (never worn) and my zipper would not go up 😭 luckily places like this exist or I would have showed up in an unzipped dress. They went above and beyond for customer service and I’ll for sure be returning for alterations and dry cleaning needs in the future. I highly recommend this place!

Best dry cleaners in town! New Era has extremely reasonable pricing, very friendly staff, and they always have our order ready on-time and accurately completed! We used to go to a different cleaners a few years ago and they would forget an item here and there or bag someone else's items with ours but we have never experienced that with New Era! They even offer shoe polish/repairs and of course alterations. It's a convenient one-stop shop!
