Life Care Center of Las Vegas

Unlike most other reviewers, I was very pleased with the care my dad received while he spent two months at this Rehab Facility recovering from a fall and concussion. I visited him almost daily and only met one wound care nurse who didn't seem to enjoy her job. Otherwise, everyone I encountered was pleasant and quite helpful with my dad. When visiting him, I interacted with nurses, therapy staff, and even the people cleaning the rooms. Any time I visited, I was always greeted with a smile and pleasant attitudes from everyone. Sylvia, Charles, and Edema, are just a few who made quite an impression. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility.

My Father in Law was just recently discharged from this facility. He was worried going here as past experiences he had were not very memorable. However...the huge renovation they have done along with proper staffing of educated personnel have made it to where he loved his month long stay...he came home with no open sounds..completely healed up from head to toe. One EXCEPTIONAL experience was the day he got admitted he had to have a specific bed matress and they ordered it immediately no questions asked & stated that it would take a couple days to get delivered...but it was there in a couple hours!!! They are all so very nice there, they treated him as he had a voice as well as a say so in his treatement and therapy. We are so happy with everything & thank them so very much for giving him a pleasent experience & more importantly by making us feel reassured that he was safe n sound taken care of. Currently a patient recovering from a stroke. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Hit my call light at 9pm, it's now 931, still no answer. Menu is barely edible, very cheap food, under staffed, medication errors, no leadership monitoring staff. I'm afraid to drink the proper amount of water since it takes them so long to answer a call light. Hopefully will get some answers this week on my discharge, although haven't gotten anywhere in the last couple weeks. No one answers the phones at the nurses stations, my mom, my HE dept at work nor my social security case mgr can get thru. I would love the Joint Commision to make a surprise visit. Shout out to Ladale and Decy two of the best cna's.

Literally the worst place I’ve ever had to visit. My grandma went here for hip replacement surgery recovery. All the nurses were so rude to her. She’s a diabetic & EVERY meal had ice cream & carrots & white bread. When I asked about her diet they said they would put her on a diabetic diet yet nothing ever changed. The place just smells bad, people aren’t taken good care of, & no one ever knows any answers to anything. Avoid this place at all costs.

My friend was in for rehab she was dropped off gurney fell on sharp object had internal bleeding healed after a while they dropped her second time she fell on sharp object ( went up rectun) internal bleeding couldnt stop died las vegas may have some good drs but not all help is good few are this town is last on list one rehab killed my mom I know people that died from stupid accidents be careful if your old they dont care.
