Lincoln National Forest

This place us so massive. Thanks to many dedicated hikers many trails have been marked according to a hiker's ability. This is taken just between seasons..national camp grounds were not open for public camping yet. We found that there is a mixture of public land and private owned land. Just breathe taking.

There is so much to do and it's National Forest. We drove all through it and height too many of the trails including staying the night. I recommend getting off the road and Hiking some of these trails. Make sure you wear hiking boots and take lots of water! My family and I really had a great time here in New Mexico.

Great place to hike, explore, and take in the scenery! There are countless trails and places to visit and tons of cool things to see. You might even find a desert stream... There are climbing and bouldering opportunities all over! Just remember, always be safe and bring extra water!

Great place to get away from all the noise . Beautiful woods and many very good trails. Great views of the mountains and also the valley below. In the winter you can even encounter snow in the higher elevations.

Where Lincoln National Forest meets with Carlsbad National Park. Forest meets desert !! Awesome hiking area. Take a camera !!
