If you care at all about your family you will NEVER put anyone you care about in this awful place. The food is horrible and nonsensical. They serve bland, poorly cooked food, as well as food that makes no sense to serve elderly people such as chicken wings. Many elderly people have arthritis and can’t eat this, or can easily choke on bones. The care is abysmal. When I visited my grandma recently, she had pressed the signal for help and 15 minutes before I got there, and even after about 15 AFTER I got there, STILL nobody had come to her room. It was dinner time so I was prepared to cut them some slack. She couldn’t stomach the dinner they brought her so I went to the desk to see if they could bring her an alternative dinner (mind you, at this time her buzzer was still unanswered as well as at least 3 others on the same floor). When I got to the desk there were 3 aids SITTING AND CHATTING, ignoring the buzzers going off that could easily be someone having fallen in the bathroom or something life threatening. We are moving her to a different facility as of tomorrow, and if you have anyone you care about in this facility I suggest you do the same as soon as possible. This place is terrible. I would give ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE

I Will forever feel guilty for placing my Mother in this place. She was previously living at Winslow Gardens. When visiting my Mother several CNAS would just look at you and turn there heads . You could hear them complaining in hallway about various issues. Some you could see did not interact at all with patients verbally. The housekeepers did a wonderfull job of interacting with patients. And there were two very kind hearted women that did activities with patients . I made a complaint against a nurse who says she has worked there a long time. Time to retire maybe .Who seems to be extremely comfortable there .So comfortable that she would continue to be extremely unpleasant. I believe her superiors are probably frightened of her . But then again the first person I complained to about it is,as grumpy as she is .I tried to deal as little as possible with her . I came in the evening she was texting . She had three elderly women in a room with her . She was not engaging with them just texting on her phone . She saw me but ignored me . Several weeks latter she would not answer my Sister about a medical question she had .She refused to give eye contact . My sister then asked for her name . She then was rude to my brother . After the first complaint she became even more hostile. So I made another complaint. The same day my complaint was finally taken a week latter !! Thats the day I was told my Mother needed to leave asap. The following day the nurse I filed complaint against supposedly said my mother did something unsafe . And there were two CNAS with her . Which is extremely unusual because you can never find anyone .My Mother was sent to Geri Psychiatric ward . If I could do it all over again I would have never put my sweet Mother in this place . Some of you in the medical field need to change your careers. Very unpleasant experience. I know its difficult in trying to find your loved one a good nursing home . Try to take your time looking . Good luck

My grandfather was a long resident of Linn and Winslow Gardens. While he was inpatient at a local hospital for a bloody nose we were notified he would not be able able to return to their facility. We had to scramble to find a new facility. I feel this was a horrible thing to do to a 93 year old man who has been a resident for over 10 years. No one from this facility reached out to see if we need help with anything. On the day we went to pack up his belongings a house keeper who was very apologetic and stated how much she will miss him was the only one who acknowledge our presence. I would not recommend Linn due to the fact that they basically evicted my grandfather and we had no say about it!
