Bannister Center

My friends mom was admitted here due to a diabetic coma and ended here for rehabilitation. she was admitted with a pressure sore on here head and on her leg. A couple days in and they got extremely worse Needless to say I do not recommend putting someone you love in this facility. My friend ended up taking her out of the facility due to being mistreated and not properly being taken care of. Her head sore was atrocious, it looked as if she hasn't been showered and she looked dirty. For someone who works at a skilled nursing and rehabilitiaon center myself a resident should be showered the day of admission. I am extremely unsatisfied with the services they provided her.

ONE OF THE WORST NURSING REHABILITATING HOMES IN RHODE ISLAND..THEY WERE SURPOST TO HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD .AND STILL SHOULD BE.....TEH NEGLECT IN THERE IS DISPICABLE AND SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED.....I GIVE THEM A 1 WHICH US STILL TO MUCH...IF YOU HAVE LOVED ONES I WOULD NNNOTTT BRING THEM TO BANNISTER HOUSE. ELMHURST NURSING HOME. OR THE GENIUS CENT IN WARWICK RI. NO. NO NO ..DONT DO IT....

Horrific. They don't care for their residents at all, they're constantly allowed to walk out and wander which is a huge safety hazard. Constantly on the hunt for my family member due to their lack of responsibility. This place is disgraceful. So irresponsible. Please don't risk your loved ones safety here

This place is a HELL HOLE. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES THERE. THEY ARE NOT PROPERLY CARED FOR IF CARED FOR AT ALL. I can tell you your loved one is not getting there medication the way they should, if they get it at all. This place is loaded with fruit flies and who knows what else. And the minute they don't have means to pay they will put them in an ambulance and send them home. No matter what condition they are in. I have an active complaint against them with the department of health. This dump looks like something straight out of a horror movie.
