Not a pleasant place to go,  besides the smell, the workers are inexperienced, unprofessional, and, sorry, but the one I encountered, none too bright!

They take great care of the animals and work hard to find them safe places to live.

I got a dog there named Medal and I thought that he was the best dog in the world! If you live in Louisa and you are looking for a pet, you should get a pet from there. I also volunteered there and so I know all the animals and they are so nice!
