They get to know the personalities of the animals in their care and are great about helping families find the pets that fits into their living situation.  We just adopted our first cat from them, and found the cat to not quite be what they had on the kennel card, but in the most fantastic ways.  Just out of the cage he was playful, loved toys and was jumping up next to our 9yo son.  We've been so pleasantly surprised by the great personality, and love that he's already neutered and microchipped.  I'm already looking forward to adding to our family again.

Adopted Bo today and he's already blending in  well with our dog Emmy and our animals. This is a good fit for sure. Thanks Karen!

This is a great SPCA for animals.  They really care for both you and the animals.

This place is fantastic, they try really hard to get the animals a great new home. I highly recommend them.

One of the best shelters in N. Va.  I've done a lot of rescue work and have had to deal with poorly-run facilities with sick animals.  Always happy to adopt from this place plus they have a great low-cost spay/neuter clinic.  Pic is of Dewy, adopted 2 years ago.
