Fairfax County Animal Shelter

We adopted our second cat here in November 2017. The staff and volunteers here were friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and orderly and it's obvious that the animals here are well cared for. We ended up adopting the first cat we saw that had been surrendered only a couple days earlier. The process was straightforward, the fees were reasonable, they encouraged us to take any of the donated items we needed and provided lots of useful information in the adoption packet. The whole process was positive and our cats get along terrifically.

This shelter is heads and shoulders above others in the area. I have been looking for a few months and the process of the adoption was great. The people are very professional, friendly and environment is so clean.

Wonderful experience! Everyone was kind and the process was simple, straightforward but still thorough. We LOVE our new bunnies and if we are ever in the market for another animal we will definitely be back!

Very clean shelter, and the staff really care about the animals here. I really believe they are getting the best care possible here until they find their forever homes.

I just loved visiting here. The staff is just wonderful and everyone is so nice! I can't say enough about how clean it is there for the animals. They seem well taken care of and someone takes the time to take the cutest pictures of each pet and give a little back story on them. I just love it! So cute and such a great cause.
